2013 has been a year of recognition, growth, and renewal here in the Lancaster community. With Lancaster named #4 out of the Top Ten Most Exciting Small Cities in America, we’ve certainly got something to boast about.
From Lancaster’s eateries, to its nightlife, to its museums, history and music, there’s no shortage of things to do. 2013 saw the grand opening of several business, breathing new life into Downtown. Aussie and the Fox and Sunshine Art + Design both opened their doors this past September, offering fine Australian-American cuisine and emerging professional artists, respectively.
2013 also saw the freshening up of local neighborhood parks, including Rodney Park, Crystal Park and even Buchanan’s dog park. With new landscape, playing courts, sculptures (and even a water park to cool off in at Rodney Park,) these neighborhoods have been revitalized.
With all these fantastic things happening around us, we can’t forget what’s happening right in our own community at Steeple View Lofts. We’ve had growth not only in the number of residents, but with local businesses as well. This past year, both Miesses Candies and Friendship heart GALLERY both relocated to our building. First Fridays now offer something for everyone, with tours, art and sweets all happening under one roof.
2013 has been a year of transformation for both Downtown Lancaster and Steeple View Lofts. In what was once a vacant warehouse there is now a vibrant and active community growing .
